Haley Thompkins (she/her) is a proud biracial actress from Los Angeles, California. She is now living in NYC, and is finishing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting through Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester. Some of her favorite roles have been Huldey (The Moors dir. Matt Winning), Maria (Twelfth Night dir. William Pomerantz), and Black Adlean (Barbecue dir. Gilbert McCauley). Recently, Haley has explored directing. She recently assistant directed ONCE (Syracuse Stage) and Newsies (Musical Theater West.) 

She believes that acting is the pursuit of the human experience, and her goal as an artist is to lead with empathy, hard work, and joy. 

Outside of theater, Haley minored in Public Communication Studies through the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at SU. She took up opinion based writing for the Daily Orange, the #1 Student run newspaper in the country, and worked for SU’s student run marketing firm TNH.
